Guest rion Posted March 5, 2004 Report Posted March 5, 2004 guy's, does hard reset helps to make your programs run faster? since freshly installed OS in the PC's are faster because they have clean registry and no fragments of HD yet. I'm just wondering if tanager smart phone is similar to PC's. :)
Guest sinner Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 it will but just by a fraction, since it will clear room on your phone memory. Like a Pc, if you keep HDD free then it will run more smoothly. But whenever you turn your phone on or off, then the windows directory rewrites itself to keep it the same size... so in terms of running faster? nothing that you will notice i think.
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 I have no technical explanation but you should notice an improvement. The feed of the phone will be much cleaner. Posted from my SmartPhone!

Guest davo141 Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 i actually noticed that my phone slowed down. when i first got the phone, i read these forums and noticed that everyone had problems with buzzing, crap battery life, and other things.i never suffered from these at all.. until i installed a plugin which went wrong, and made me hard reset my phone. i now get a buzzing in the headphone, battery life seems alot poorer! clicking/buzzing sounds whenplaying games with sound turned off. random crashes etc. . . no improvements for me
Guest rion Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 Thanks for the Input guys, I'm hesitating to try hard reset. maybe I'll try it once I notice my Phone becomes more slower.
