painting the spv

does anybody have anywebsites that will guide me through spray painting the spv or anybody got any tips please.

I could give you some tips on genereal spraying, but thats all.. (I spray cars, bit of a dfference, but same priciple (sp.) ) lol. :)

Its better you take the phone apart, and cover up any bits you dont want sprayed (i.e cover hole in the earpiece, charger connection, headphone socket) with masking take (get the thin stuff, easier to work with).

First, sand it down using VERY FINE grit paper.. Prob about P800 (not the phone. lol).. That gives the paint soething to stick to. Get plastic paint (any art store should have it) and spray it evenly, in rows along the phone, i.e from the bottom to the top (connecter to earpiece). Spray it evenly (cant stress this enough) and thinly.. 3 or 4 coats give a better finish that a big thick coat..

Do at least 3 coats, or until you think the colous even and deep..

Then get some lacquer (stops the paint coming off and getting chipped easily)..

Give it a good couple of coats of laquer aswell..

Try and not make the phone too think, otherise when it falls, the amount of paint and lacquer will turn it into a "bouncy phone" lol..
