E200 Orange Homescreen on other models?

hello i posted a similar topic on Help but no luck...

So here it goes...

I would like to have the fantastic orange homescreen on my Qtek 8080 and my friend would really like to have it too on his SPV E100...

so if it would be possible anyone could implement that homescreen in order to work in any other model?... pleaaaase :cry: !

not really, cos it uses a plugin designed specifically for the e200 (and wm2k3), and so its unlikely it would work on the e100/spv/mpx200 etc

well i have a Qtek 8080 with wm2k3... could it be possible to install that plugin in my mobile and use it the same way the E200 does? they are identical phones...

i'd really love that skin... :?

not legally, no, cos its an orange developed plugin for orange phones, and will be copyrighted :)

You can at least use the shortcut aspects of the plugin with the rj generic shortcut plugin.

You can customise the icons, but I'm not sure if the chicon works??

It is a shame for non-orange users, coz the new plugin is fantastic. I never use the programs menu anymore - I just access everything I need from the homescreen!! :wink:

It would be good if more developers got into plugins. I LOVE the new Oxios plugin! Which is very clever marketing if you ask me - free plugin, that os very good, but to get the most out of it, you gotta buy the app!! Nice thinking Oxios! I like your style!! :)

oh... that's really bad news...

well i would wait for the Orange update for the E200 and install it on my Qtek 8080 but it doesn't have the T9 in portuguese... :)

i already tried to use the RJ shortcut plugin but it doesn't seem to work the same way... not even close... it's impossible to implement all the plugins used in the Orange E200 homescreen, like the settings menu that shows the alarm... richieM plugin doesn't work on my Qtek 8080... it goes to the bluetooth settings! :?

let's hope that a good person creates a homescreen with plugins like the orange one... let's pray...... O:)
