assining gifs to change homescreen !help!

Hello guys,

Before my phone went doolally (i had to do a hard reset on thursday night) I could set a picture as the home screen, but now i cant. I have caller id installed if that make a difference (not sure) before thursday I was able to chose from a menu "set as homescreen" but I cant now, please help! Where am I going wrong

You need to have the pictures in

IPSMApplication DataHome or if you have 2003 running on your phone then change IPSM for Storage.
