Guest crafty Posted March 7, 2004 Report Posted March 7, 2004 Sorry for the cross post but noticed in this thread, eagle-eyed member manveruppd has spotted a 128mb Lexar SD card for £12.26 plus VAT here. Thought that this was soo cheap it was worth posting in Main! Hope this helps someone! Crafty 8)

Guest janagan Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Damn Damn Damn i forget to look at the forumn for one day and i miss out on a brilliant offer :)
Guest MECX Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Well i havent got it yet im waiting for the email saying that they made a mistake. If it does come what a deal :)
Guest nedge2k Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 Even if they do say it was a mistake, you say "Oh, what a shame. Well, I suppose i'll just have to take you to court for false advertising!"
Guest AdrianFRST Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 This sounds like one of the weekend e-deals they do. The offer is on from Friday night (I think) until Monday morning, when the old price reverts. Even if they do say it was a mistake, you say "Oh, what a shame. Well, I suppose i'll just have to take you to court for false advertising!" That wouldn't be a very smart move. See their T&C: "2.3 Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on the Supplier's website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order. If the Supplier does not receive an order confirmation within 14 days of informing you of the error, the order will be cancelled automatically. If you cancel, the Supplier will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods. "
Guest MECX Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 yay it came im very happy. Works in my MPX not tested in the E200 yet but i cant see there being a problem. Cheers for the link again saved me a bit of cash :)

" Trust me, you'd still have a good case and chance of winning it. You wouldnt believe the amount of loopholes there are for situations like this. Especially the ones that work to your advantage
Guest Coucou Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 Terms and conditions can't breach your statutory rights, those might do, in which case you'd be in your rights to demand stuff at the advertised price regardless. Even if you sign something, or in the case of the internet tick a box to say you've accepted their terms it doesn't mean they can hold you to unfair clauses. :) Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest MARKUKCOUK Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 its not a mistake you fools. ebuyer always do this. thats why they are my favourite online store.
Guest Coucou Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 No-one said it was a mistake. Who's the fool now? :) I was merely pointing out that if they did make a mistake then they might not find it easy to use those T&Cs to cover it up. I'm glad to hear they have a good reputation though, been thinking about a bigger memory card for a while - only got a 64MB one
Guest nedge2k Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 So i take it this is a fairly regular weekend thing then? I'd give my right arm for a 512
Guest squall Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 hmm dont have much use for a right arm - sorry I to have bought of them many a time, not had any problems either. reputable and cheap!
Guest nedge2k Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 hmm dont have much use for a right arm - sorry :)
Guest MARKUKCOUK Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 get ebuyer extra value sd cards. dead cheap, no problems (See reviews - ebuyer DO allow bad reviews!) yeah, make an account with them and get the ebuyer weekly newsletter. warning: it makes u buy stuff
Guest Coucou Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 are they single or double layer cards? edit: just read the reviews, 256 card works in someones e200 so guess they must be single layer :)
