Good Few Qustions

Lo folks, got a few questions i need some help with. Iv'e had a look in the FAQ and done a search, and thats already answered a few of my questions.. Just these ones i need some help with..

You ready?

1) Does anybody else's active sync crash when the pc starts? Since i installed it, it wont work unless it detects a net connections, and as soon as i switch on the pc, it tried to start up AOL. (dont slate me.. it works! lol :) ) It only started doing this when Active Sync was installed..

2) Is there any way to add my own folders in the SMS part of the inbox? I keep all my SMS's from one person, and instead of having it in the inbox, i want to move it to the specific folder. Is this possible?

3) SMS2mail.. Everytime i run it, it backs up all the messages in my SMS inbox, and moves them to my SMS outbox, which outlook dosnt sync with.. Can i set up outlook ot sync with the SMS outbox? or transfer them from the SMS outbox to the Active sync outbox? It also never converts the first sms correctly, its always a ~(then a box) for the subject and message..

4) Send/Read SMS - i just cant get this to work. The frameworks installed and everything, i just keep getting a message unable to initialise smartphone device. Any ideas?

5) Any dates for the new ROM to be released? What kind of updates are we looking at? I really want the Delivery report on all message option!

6) Will the update fix the "Send audio file through MMS"?

Any news on sending Video Clips through MMS?

7) Is there any small free Word viewrs out yet? I do a lot of reading out and about, and it would be perfect if the Smartphone could do it..

8) Is there anyway to add/remove change the groups in the contacts folder? The 3 of them are more catered towards business users, whereas i could do with a couple, i.e Friends, Family, Colleuges, VIP, Aviod (well, they gott be classed somehow! lol :D )

9) That annoying Ting, even when the phones on silent, it still tings away when im doin stuff. Any way to disable it when the phone goes on silent? Or automatically out the earpieve volume up to max when a call comes in?

Thats all i can think of just now. lol..

3, I've never used SMS2mail but as for message headings, SMS do not have headings when they get sent so that may answer psrt of your question.

4, ? :?

5, Which phone do you have? SPVE100 unlikely to be another update for a long time if at all, E200 hopefully by April, MPX200 unknown.

And no for message report on all SMS

6, No idea as I don't use MMS

7, No

9, What "ting" are you refering to? have you looked at your sound settings?

Think he means the really loud "ting" that you get when, for instance, you select a contact to send an SMS to. Theres was a way to fix this, cant rem where though. Have a look through customization - discussion.

Easiest way is to switch System Sounds off in Profiles.

There is an app called ReplaceSound up here somewhere which does it too
