Problem with E200 action key!!

Hi

I've just discovered a fault with my action key on my new SPV E200. When I press the start key and highlight the applications I have loaded on my phone, the action key does not move the highlighter up. In fact it appears that whatever app I am in I cannot move the cursor up. I can move the highlighter or cursor down by either pushing the action key down or by pressing the action key in. If I am in the menu I have to select the app I need to use by selecting the relevant number next to it and not by pressing the action key IN like I used to be able to. All this does now is highlight the app underneath it in the menu.

??? Have I over-explained myself here????

Has some piece of rogue software I've installed screwed up my phone?? Has anyone else had this problem with the action key?
