Guest Gorskar Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Nice car, but I'm thinking I'll stick with my punto for the moment, which wont cost me the asking price again to insure!! (Being 23 has its drawbacks...)
Guest Mr_Protozoa Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 you can remove the glue mark with a bit of lighter fluid. just squirt some on - let it soak for a min - scratch it off. Job done. Should add at least £5 to the asking price!
Guest kelv23 Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 I suppose beauty is in the eye of the beholder, sorry not to my taste they always look like a hairdresser should be driving them. what car you gonna buy next?
Guest Mr_Protozoa Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Ah, the old hairdresser car debate! Always a giggle!
Guest davo141 Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 MGF's are the ultimate hairdressers cars!
Guest phildrudge Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 yeah that is the bain of having a car like that. I'm not gay by the way, i have a beautiful large breasted girlfriend!!! haha 8) Cheers for the tip about the lighter fluid, will it mark the plastic trim at all??
Guest Mr_Protozoa Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 it shouldn't mark the plastic at all. I use that method all the time to remove stickers and such like off computers.
Guest kelv23 Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 i wasn't implying you were gay or owt.congratulations on the big breasted beautiful girlfriend, she's not a hairdresser is she?
Guest phildrudge Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 hahhahahah :) :D :D no she's not a hairdresser!!!
Guest MECX Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 I like the car--wish i could afford the insurance :-( wollaton park looks good in the sunshine
Guest phildrudge Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 yeah we had to sit and wait for ages for the sun to come out. The insurance is surprisingly low actually, i'm 22 and it was 800 quid last year. I didnt think that was too bad!! that was the only thing stopping my buying one before. It was one of those - - oo i'd love one of those but i cant afford it. well i may as well have a look anyway just for a laugh. Blimey! i can afford it!! right thats it i'm getting one!
Guest kelv23 Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 once you get to an affordable insurance age (31) you tend not to need those sort of cars as you get stuff like babies and mortgages, shopping in Tesco's and so on.in the heady days of my youth i had a naff car something like an astra then for kicks i'd ride my motorbike vfr 400.the astra was cheap as to ensure, the bike a bit more but no boy racer in his xr3i could live with me at a set of traffic lights.even porsches think twice when a bike pulls up to them at the lights. had a cool car once though a mini 1275gt they drive like a supercharged go karts!!!
Guest phildrudge Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 yeah thats kinda why the car is going! -mortgage, got one of those, babies - more than likely one on the way - shopping in tescos - tell me about it! robbing gits.......
