Guest matthewjames Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 sorry for the urgency, but my SPV won't charge from the mains, and the battery is too low to power the phone. when the mains charger is plugged in the yellow LED stays lit rather than flashes, so there is power getting to the phone, but the "charging" icon doesn't appear and the battery level indicator just has an exclamation mark next to it. the phone won't find a signal and apart from showing my home screen it won't do anything else. i've taken the battery out and restarted the phone many times over the last couple of hours and still not got anywhere. any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks

Guest matthewjames Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 oh berlimey! it's started up now and it's eventually got a signal. i've composed a text message and now it won't send it! i press "send" and it highlights but doesn't actually send the message! aagghh!!!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Sounds like you have run out of space on your phone, this can prevent you from sending SMS messages. You need to clear out old messages or large ringtones etc to free up some space. Also if you have been installing apps to the phone rather than the storage card this will be another reason why you have run out of space.
