Orange Care: Can/ Should I Claim?

Hi people.

I bought my MPx200 in December (last year) from Orange. I'm subscribed to the 'Orange Care' service.

My phone has always had poor battery life, and recently the batter-cover has become loose. It now creaks when I use the phone - very annoying.

I'm considering claiming for a replacement. Can I claim for the above?

Also, my primary use for purchasing the MPx was for web-browsing. The smartphone edition of IE really sucks, and I wish I had an SE P900 (which has an Opera browser available).

I've heard that Orange are out of stock of the MPx200; and are offering customers a free P900 as a replacement. Is this true? If not - do you think I could ask for a free P900 (or is that too cheeky)?

Welcome to the site :)

They are offering an E200 or you may get a P800 but not a 900 model.

If you get poor battery life they will probably ask you to hard reset

then charge the battery for a good 12 hours.

I've already performed a Hard Reset, and decharged/ charged the battery. An E200?... Whats the browser like on that?

Same as the mpx only difference the E200 runs smartphone 2003
