Guest novice Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 Just got a i600 today and have not been able to configure it to Exchange Server - in fact the active sync is returning errors from the PC to the device. Tasks loaded ok - but no luck with contacts, calendar and Inbox. How do I get Active Sync to work initially?
Guest patag Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Are you using Exchange 2003? On your Exchange 2003 box, do you have OWA / OMA installed and configured properly? Does your Exchange 2003 server have a self sign SSL certificate? If you have OWA / OMA working and have a self signed SSL cert, you need to disable cert checking on your phone. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...94-530a67614df1 I have it working on my phone, so let me know if you have any more questions. patag
Guest 21alpha Posted April 15, 2004 Report Posted April 15, 2004 Hi Do u know if there is a workaround for FBA? I have this turned on, on my exchange server and I receive HTTP_500 connection errors on my phone. If I turn off FBA all is ok, even with SSL enabled as I have cert checking disabled. I have applied the Microsoft article fix 822177 but this does not fix my problem Is there another workaround for active sync and forms based authentication? regards 21alpha
