Guest roadwise Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 Can anyone make this run on an Mpx200 it seems to try and start but my eyes dont seem to be as good as they used to be and i can't make out what is happening on screen. So probably wont be much use to me if it does work.pocket_lom.zip
Guest gravity Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Woah, it took me a while to figure out that it draws it in landscape mode. The interface is visible but the engine doesn't want to draw the rest of the screen. I did manage to see a sprite that looked like a horse with someone riding it but thats about all. Test unit: MPx200 ROM versions: Operator: 1.0.35.65 Manufacturer 1.0.35.65 Microsoft: 3.0.13258.0 Language 1.0.35.65
Guest Richie M Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 yeah, this aint gonna look good on any Smartphone as its made for PocketPC which obviously has a bigger screen.
Guest maxh2003 Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Best to hassle the guy who's writing it to see if he'll either give up the source code (well, it *could* happen), or put together a Smartphone version, which would probably be less work than he might imagine if he's not developed for Smartphone before. this aint gonna look good on any Smartphone as its made for PocketPC which obviously has a bigger screen Of course, it might look good on a nice might-be-available-in-6-months WM2003SE Smartphone, given the potential for a 240x320 display... ...except that, as the PocketTV team has pointed out, it probably won't run at all if it uses GAPI...
Guest roozbeh Posted April 17, 2004 Report Posted April 17, 2004 i didnt get why if it uses GAPI it wont run...? GAPI is for using on ppc and sp...so why not.... can you link what PocketTV team said.....
Guest maxh2003 Posted April 17, 2004 Report Posted April 17, 2004 what PocketTV team said.....It appears Microsoft broke GAPI on WM2003SE, and the workaround is unsatisfactory. Note this doesn't apply to pre-WM2003SE devices. http://modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=107015&highlight= > Uh, they broke GAPI [on WM2003SE]? Basically: yes.
