Guest shardy Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 Hi, I'm on OVP T-mobile freetime 750, and am trying to work out whether my GPRS internet access comes off me free 750 off-peak minutes. I've asked Orange (in the shop, on 150 AND 156) and 2 people have said it does and 2 have said it doesn't. I could be about to get a VERY large bill because of this. Can anyone shed any light on this 4 me? I'm furious at Orange... Sam PS. I think my e200 has just about every fault listed on this site and I've only had it 4 days :)
Guest badboy4life Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 As far as i'm aware the actual T-Mob tariff itself only allows the use of the 750 minutes as CSD wap, and not GPRS. Secondly the fact GPRS is measured in data size(e.g. kB, MB) and not in units of time it can't be used!!!Thirdly Orange won't even allow the minutes to be used as CSD. Ok i've tried explaining the reasons, simply NO its not part of your free minutes.
Guest shardy Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 That is essentially what I thought, but when you get told by 2 Orange representatives that it does come off the free minutes you tend to believe them. I'll know better in future! Thanks, Sam
