MS Smartphone, Pocket PC Phone edition and CE .NET

Hi

I am a newby to this forum. I have had a quick scroll through other posts to see if I can find an answer, but so far no luck. Can somebody please expalin (simply) the difference between the operating systems found on Microsoft mobile devices. Have I got this correct? - MS Smartphone and Pocket PC mobile edition run on Windows CE, but there is also CE .NET that is able to run as an OS as well? What phones on the market use the CE .NET OS?
