Guest BrAGoL Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 @lifesuk for your pc or for your phone?
Guest phonesmarts Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 srry about that...a stupid question = a stupid answer anyway, i think there's a program for SP that allows you to take screens of your phone. of course, if it was for a comp, then "Print Screen" key
Guest BrAGoL Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 it's smart screen shot for the phone...

Guest Disco Stu Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 no problem for the screenshot :) Â but came another: i just tried to download the smartss by using my xphone(just because its not a large file), it said 'this file cannot be viewed on the divice' (i know its a ZIP file) my question is 'Can i save files to my device off the internet?' :? You can only download .cab files from the phone I believe.
Guest lifesuk Posted March 15, 2004 Report Posted March 15, 2004 i just attach the smartss.CAB in my last post still cannot download could anyone tell me how to save the CAB file onto my device?
Guest lifesuk Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 the introduction says the captures are in the ipsm/my documents,i m using xphone, seems no ipsm folder, where r the captures on my xphone? Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 The WM2003 OS used on the E200 / Xphone calls the IPSM "Storage", so the screengrabs should be in Storage / My Documents as .bmp files
Guest lifesuk Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 but when i click * nothing happened, then i go to Storage/My Documents, there is no capture anyway what do i do now?
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 I use it in conjunction with xbar. Don't exit SmartSS, switch to the required app; press * It can also take a few seconds for the bitmap to get to My Docs I know what you're talking about mate but eventually you'll get it ( and probably find dozens of .bmps clogging up your phone ! :? )
Guest lifesuk Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 when i want to capture homescreen, i press the * it goes to the call manu/list i dont know if i should hold the * , but i did try a lot times for any possible PRESSING i just cant get the captures :?
Guest mavisdavis Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Also if it's the same phone as the E200 you'll have to create a folder in the root directory and call IPSM because thats the Smartss stores the photos.
Guest lifesuk Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 i did creat a IPSM folder and My Documents under the IPSM folder but still not woking :)
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 Also if it's the same phone as the E200 you'll have to create a folder in the root directory and call IPSM because thats the Smartss stores the photos. Check the author's website to make sure you've got the latest version - http://www.louterrailloune.com/smartss.html - because it works fine on my E200, saving bitmaps in Storage / My Documents :)
Guest lifesuk Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 it works for the V1.1 :) thanks mate
