Guest Sv1000 Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 Hi, I found a method (with help of nebco) to save all your SMS,MMS and Email on E200 (and perhap's on all HTC Voyager) I GUARANTEED NOT THE PERFECT OPERATION OF THIS METHOD (But it's work for me on E200) Save : :arrow: Start Phone :arrow: Create registry key KHLMSoftware MicrosoftMAPI :arrow: Create new value “String” with like name “DbPath” and like data a false name (ie : StorageCemail2.vol) :arrow: Restart Phone :arrow: Copy your file CEMAIL.VOL :arrow: Copy all the folder “StorageWindowsMessaging” :arrow: Rename or delete key MAPI created previously :arrow: Restart Phone Restore : :arrow: Start Phone :arrow: Create registry key KHLMSoftware MicrosoftMAPI :arrow: Create new value “String” with like name “DbPath” and like data a false name (ie : StorageCemail2.vol) :arrow: Restart Phone :arrow: Copy your file CEMAIL.VOL previously saving in “Storage” :arrow: Copy the folder “Messaging” previously saving in “StorageWindows” :arrow: Rename or delete key MAPI created previously :arrow: Restart Phone Somebody can tell me if it works ??? Guest jason8 Posted March 21, 2004 Report Posted March 21, 2004 I needed to backup my e200 b4 the update. I had about 768 messages to backup, I tried this and worked SCHWEEET! Thanks! MMS, E-mails and SMS saved exactly as before. :lol: :lol: :) :lol:

Guest christopherj Posted March 2, 2005 Report Posted March 2, 2005 i like the idea of saving the contacts in this way but my phone syncs with outlook and i have a backup that way as after i have reformated the phone when i connect it through active sync then it just copys all contacts, tasks, calendar entries automaticly
