Orange Soft Keyboard

I am thinking of buying the sofe keyboard (not as lucky as you guys in UK who got this free with the purchase of the phone) and ask for user opinions.

1. How would you use it? For Internet? Entering data? Or when telnet-ing?

2. It is not available in Hong Kong. I guess I have to buy it on Internet. Can any one tell me where I can find it on the web and the cheapest price would be?

3. Thinking of getting the cradle as well. The drawback is it cannot change the second battery like the Compaq iPaq cradle. Please share your comment.

4. Does any Wi-Fi card come with Smartphone 2003 driver?

Working away from home alot I use it mainly to chat via msn messenger, so the keyboard is of great help.

Currently £25 in orange shops is all I can help here

Dont quite understand this one, but you can plug the charger into the keyboard cradle

You use it like a normal QWERTY keyboard (but it is single press - hit shift then another button) It's got the joystick thing, call / end call, and the two softkey on the right. 5 (I think) shortcut keys on the top.

I think it's £50 from the orange website, click e200 then accesories.

This one comes with a cradle, you can charge the phone, but you can't sync at the time. My thoughts - it charges and therefore does what it says on the tin :wink:

BTW...as with everything with this phone, it does work fully, as it was origiinally designed for the e100......the short cuts and function keys dont work......

some of the sortcats does not work but as hole the keyboard is excelent. Also it made all my lectures in the uni to go mad!!!!!

I charge my E200 in the cradle of the keyboard and sync using bluetooth. Best of both worlds!
