Guest bal Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 HI :) I've been offered a toshiba t1900s laptop for £35. I've searched the net but can't find much info. I know its a monochrome 486. I only need it for word processing. The battery doesn't charge, but it comes with a power lead and works ok. Does it sound like a good deal? :?
Guest squall Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 as long as your only using it for word processing it should be fine. i bought one for the same idea about 2 years ago. batterys tend not to last 4 years + in laptops.
Guest bal Posted March 12, 2004 Report Posted March 12, 2004 i think it's got windows 3.1 on. Anyway of connecting it to my PC at work (windowsXP pro) for file transfers (ie. whatever i've typed in my word processor). But having said that i guess i can just save it on a floppy. OK. forget i said anything. I'm gonna buy it, so thanks for the advice. P.S. is yours still working ok?
