Hello there! I'm new here and i would like to share this experience that happened to me a few weeks ago. I have a friend na nagalit sakin, medyo maSPAMw pero sanay kasi sya na nakukuha yung gusto nya. to make the long story short, she threatened to have my phone blocked daw by someone she knows from Smart. Di ko yon sineryoso since i know that she doesn't know my ISDN (or is it IMEI?) #. The next day, when i woke up, nagulat na lang ako nung nakita ko sa phone ko na Network Denied etc. Contact your service provider or something to that effect. Medyo, natakot ako. After doing a soft reset, bumalik na sa default na skin and sounds nung smart phone. GRRRRRRR!!! Balik ulit sa settings ng Smart. Di ko na mabalik sa dati, ginawa ko na lahat nung instructions dito, wala pa rin and i don't know what i'm doing wrong. Ano ba yung mga usual mistake when configuring the GPRS settings? Anyone here na taga-Smart and can explain kung pano nangyari yun?

P.S. Mern pla ku nung patalastas n bago nila britney, beyonce tsaka pink mgkakasama.

i dont get it. from the title...... youre using globe sim right? so ano naman kinalaman ng smart telecom sa nangyari sayo? i'm not from smart but if they can disconect globe subscriber from globe network why not disconnect everybody using globe. that would make sense. unless your friend is madam GMA. i dont think she/he has anything to do with what happened to your SPV. you're giving him/her way to much credit.

No, Smart can not block or deactivate your Globe account....nor can Globe itself deactivate you anytime without any reason...kahit may kilala pa yung friend mo sa ano mga network.

After what happened, did you get your signal back? at okay na ang phone mo except for the GPRS settings? Kung ganon, walang kinalaman nga ang network sa nangyari.....probably your phone hard resetted after long hours of having a drained battery, baka hindi mo na-recharge kaagad?

Yeah, im using a Globe sim. Di ba supposed to be exclusive ang SPV sa Smart? Kaya nga "Smart Amazing Phone" tawag nila di ba? Since nag-reset lahat yung settings and bumalik sa default ng Smart pati yung GPRS. I'm not saying that Smart can disconnect everybody na naka-Globe, i'm merely suggesting na baka lang kaya nila i-disable yung mga naka-SPV na alam nila na hindi Smart sim ang gamit. :?

Yup, okay na after nung reset. It couldn't have been a drained battery kasi naka-charge yung phone ko nung nangyari. Correct me if i'm wrong, pero di ba pag nag-hard reset ka, mabubura lahat yung messages, address, skins, programs, etc? Never pa kasi ako nag-hard reset. Tsaka pala before lumabas yung access denied/contact your service provider, I noticed that kung nasan yung name ng network lumalabas, di ba usually ang lumalabas lang dun, Name of Network, Searching or kaya Network Denied, Iba yung nakalagay, nakalimutan ko lang. Call me paranoid, pero I'm 90% sure that my friend had something to do with it or rather yung kakilala nya pala na taga-Smart. I mean, think about it, ano ang odds na someone will threaten na may mangyayari sa phone mo tapos nagloko yung phone mo sa loob ng isang araw? Though, hindi nga nya napa-block and i'm sure nagulat sya na gamit ko pa rin yung phone ko, hassle pa rin kc nag-reset yung GPRS settings tsaka pala i had to re-install yung media players ko (pocketmvp & Pocket TV) kasi ayaw gumana. But it's all good. Gusto ko lang naman po i-share. :lol:

pre what ever happened to your phone has nothing to do with your friend. coz it recovered when you did a reset meaning its on the phone lang. if smart cant do anything to hundreds upon of stolen phones in the philippines they cant do anything to your hard earned phone. unles your ex friend is some kind of a witch or something. he he he

@dirty

same thing happened to me before, siguro corrupted lang ang phone ko dahil sa dami ng nilalagay ko before- nawalan ng access sa network. nag hard reset ako ng fone- tapos yun ok na, I just have to restore my settings and other programs. There is no way na ma-block ng Smart ang phone mo, considering you are using globe, unless of course alam nya ang IMEI number mo.

I have some friends in Smart, I asked the same question before- kung kaya nila i-block. kaya nila yung network access ng "Smart SIM"- then again naka Globe ka.. so wala silang access dun...

with regards to them knowing that you are using SAP with a globe sim, hindi nila alam yun unless sabihin mo sa kanila kung ano ang gamit mong fone. hindi nila alam kung anong model ang fone ang ginagamit ng nasa kabila...

i dare anyone to have my line at smart disconnected. i can even pm you my IMEI and Cell number just to prove a point. just think of the lawsuits if they ever dare cut you off unless you dont pay your bills. he he he

that situation is very unlikely to happen or lemme say impossible. walang pakialam ang telcom kung ano pa ang fone na ginagamit mo. either your using smart amazing phone on a globe network or not. they dont have the capacity to know what fone you are using. kung meron man silang technology na ganun, they would face serious criminal charges. intrution of private property na yata yun.

Hehehe. Hindi sya witch, b*tch lang. :) Anyway, past is past and okay na naman yung phone ko kahit wala pang GPRS. Kalinte is right, maybe i'm giving her way too much credit for what happened to my phone.
