Is there anyway to make the sound of it higher? I.E Just the noise of the keys, not the actual system volume?

I have the system volume turned up loud, but this means every button press sounds like theres a gunshot, but the voice is cool. :)

Can it be made loud just for the keyoad tones?

Thanks,

Nick

You can completely disable the keypad clicks and just have the robot sounds. This is what I chose to do.

The problem with Program-Settings-Sounds-Keypad control is that it enablesdisables both Script and Beepmode parameters in the registry.

So edit the registry manually:

Goto HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelSoundsKeypress

Edit Script and make it blank

Edit Beepmode and make it 1

then TURN IT UP LOUD :)

I'm not sure about a getting a lower volume for key clicks rather than disabling it. In theory you could create another sound category in the registry with a lower intial volume and then associate the keyclick sound to it (instead of system). Never tried it though.

BTW this is such a cool app

errr, the cab should change the beepmode autonmatically when you install it, however, when you go into the Sounds control panel it resets beepmode, there isnt currently a fix for this (could be done with an external app, which will be available soon)

Midnight

I originally installed the app with keypad Control set to None in Settings-Sounds and it worked OK but I suspect that if you install it while keypad click is on and then try to disable click the beepsound goes too.

Does the cab change both beepsound and delete the p from Script (in KeyPress) ?

What's this external app then ?

@goinnuts

No problems m8 :)
