Guest SpeedFreak Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 Hey, going to upgrade from my SPV to an MPX200. The main factors are that i've heard that the battery life is muuuch better on the MPX200 (instead of a day and a bit on my SPV) and that being a flip-phone it is not only more compact, but the main screen stays protected (i have got through many screen protectors on my spv!) So basically can anyone comment on their battery life (compared to an SPV maybe?)? And also what about the headphone audio quality (using my own earphones and adapter) for listening to MP3's?? Thanks
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 It's a good alround phone and never caused me any problems :) The only thing that slows it down a bit is the jmms software but that can be uninstalled. As for headphones the jack plug is configured differently to the SPV so a standard connector may need converting.
Guest SpeedFreak Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 can you point me to a place where i can get a converter that will definately work for the mpx200 (3.5mm stereo socket -> weird mpx200 jack)
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 You could try here http://www.pc-mobile.net/mpx200.htm but it may be worth emailing them to confirm that it will work on the mpx with your own headphones.
