Guest clubpeco Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 OK, everything is working peachy apart from the fact that my Windows Media Player, does not allow me to shift my 'Music to Copy' onto my 'Storage Card', 'IPSM' or 'Smart Phone' ActiveSync has been working well with Outlook, the only probs I've had is with my Media Player on my PC. I click on the 'Portable Device' tab. The SPV is recognised. The following options are available in the 'Music on Drive' combo box; IPSM Storage Card Smart Phone Cool so far...but... Media Player does not read the Device Capacity as it always stays at '0 bytes'. The storage usage bar is at 100% for all options too. There is nothing on the Storage Card. OK, anyway I decide to select a track to copy and hit 'Copy Music'. Current Operation status is as follows; 'Inspecting', then 'Copying' Operation Progress gets to '12% complete' before chucking the following error; 'An Error Occurred The drive cannot locate a specific area or track on the disk'

Guest akarno Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 I have had the same problem. There is a compatibility problem with Smartphone and media player. I have posted a small app which does some of this functionality for you. See: http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=902
