Guest mr_chinchin25 Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 on the E200 you have several different ambience options for the video camera. Can anyone tell me what each is designed for / does??? The options are as follows: 1, Auto 2. Daylight 3. Incandescent 4. Fluorescent 5. Dim 6. Effects Obviously I guess here that daylight cuts out glare etc, and dim is for dim lighting!
Guest Bonzo Posted March 13, 2004 Report Posted March 13, 2004 They are the equivalent of the White Balance settings U would find on a digitital camera... basically each different light source has a colour or warmth so each of these settings is designed to allow the camera to give a truer representation of colours under specific ligting condiotions... for instance say U intend to take a pic or video in a room with flourescent strip lighting... if U use the daylight setting then the picture would have a definite blue hue to it but if U set the ambience setting to flourescent it should adjust for this and the pic should give look as the scene does Hope this helps :)
