How to create screensavers for smartphone??????

Sorry if this post has already been made but i searched for help everywhere!!!

I wos just wondering how would i create a screensaver for my phone myself? could i use an ordinary screensaver creation package with my pc and set the dimensions to smartphone compatibility or is it a bit more complex than that???
