help with doom install

i've only just got my spv so forgive me if the answer to my problem is easy:

I just installed doom but it wont play,i installed it to my storage card but when i try to run it it just says Wad1 file not found,it is installed in the same directory as the exe file.

I tried to reinstall it but to no avail.

have a look at monolithix.org, i believe the doom download there has instructions in a read me file that will guide you through the correct installaton process. or do a search on the site and there will be a thread that tells you how. :wink:

What you need to do is have a folder called DoomSPV inside this you

have the Doom.exe file and another folder also called DoomSPV

Inside of this second folder you have to place the .wad file
