Need some help with software and lock codes for att network

Hello i have my mpx200 about 3 weeks and just not to long ago i found out that my phone could be software locked #-o . Now i don't know if that would include my phone since Im in usa using At&t network i have tryed downloading doom for my phone but when I try ruining it would only act as if it were going in to a web site but then all i get is bunch of letters and numbers :-k , that look like the start of an application to me. Im not really sure if thats is the way to see if the phone is sofware locked but i have read that if i cannot use doom it might be software locked. Now i see that in many places peolple refer to the word SVP? what does this mean and what kind of sofwares are compatible with my carrier or phone? please some one if you could help me out i would really apreciaet it [-o< Im trying to use different softwares for my phone and i don't want to return it

If your MPX200 is the AT&T version then it won't be application locked.

It sounds like you are trying to stream the Doom file to the SPV over GPRS. If the site doesn't support it you just get letters and numbers displayed. Also Doom would have to be in a cab file.

Try downloading Doom to the PC. Unzip the file and copy the EXE file to the SPV manually via activesync.

Well i downloaded doom to my computer and then did the copy and paste but im not sure where to put it or how to name the file or if not to make a file. What do yo mean cab.file? my phone tells me that the file WAD could not be opend and to be sure that the file is in game directory. sorry about the question im not sure if this issue has been brought out before but im trying to get my phone working and thank for the help

A cab is like a zip file except it will auto install the files for you (when it is run from the SPV)

Doom comes as a zip file so you must extract and install the files manually.

Unzip files.

Create a directory called DoomSPV on the SD card.

Copy EXE file to it.

In this DoomSPV directory create another directory called DoomSPV.

Copy WAD file to DoomSPVDoomSPV

That should do it :)

!!!GR8T!!! I got it to work! at least i saw the game and actually moved it a little but then i did not know how to use the gun? but the reall problem is that everytime i get out and go back to the game i get this message "UNABLE TO CREATE MAIN WINDOW. PROGRAM WILL NOW END" what does this mean? i have unistalled it and reinstalled it and then i worked fine againg then i get out and come back in then againg the ugly message comes up????? please help !!! i now got to see the game and it looked real good better then most phones i have had. what can i do? some one please help me.
