Messenger won't use passthrough. work's on GPRS - help!

I have an E200 and as far as I can tell have set the Passthrough settings up ok in Internet Explorer. When docked, the internet explorer correctly uses passthrough but MSN Messenger continues to dial up using GPRS. Is there a setting I missed somewhere to tell MSN not to use GPRS?

MSN messenger uses the Internet connection directly.

Check Programs-Settings-Data Connections and make sure the passthrough is on the Internet connection (not work connection).
