Guest dma Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Just wanted to say how useful this forum is, I havn't asked many questions because most of them have already been answered in various threads. I was reading the forum for a week before getting my hands on an SPV and was starting to think I should change my mind about buying one. I am glad I didn't, it has its shortcomings but I haven't yet experienced a disaster with it, there are is some functionality missing but the positive far outweighs the negative in my opinon. Looking forward to more software as time goes on, getting a good home screen sorted and hopefully a reasonably priced uncapped GPRS service at some point ! d.
Guest chewie Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Bravo DMA, I was a little scepticle when i got my SPV, but when you start getting really into it, changing the home screen and such. It becomes much more fun.

Guest Shire29 Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Ditto the comments above about the forum. Special thx to Paul and his colleagues, and all who post, keep up the great work. My SPV is now more like one of the family, infact I've named HER Betty, and I've even ordered her an xmas prezi, sshh, whisper, a 128md Sandisk SD card, sshh  It'll be at the bottom of her bed christmas morning, oooh I'm so excited for her. She will be able to play many more tunes, and even a whole movie, games and in the new year I reckon there will be a host of new apps for her to try. Roll on 2003, year of the SPV :D Cheers, Shire
Guest chewie Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 ^ Man you NEED to get out the house WITHOUT your SPV, your loosing your mind. :( Well i think we all are a little too attached to our SPV's :D
Guest DancingMatt Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Like tomdbomb... above, I learned a lot about the SPV before I got it yesterday. I'm one of those "want to know everything" people and yes, I do read the manual! Some of the really simple questions on here and uk.telecoms.mobile shows how many people don't! Now all I have to do is get through the rest of this week and the weekend and then maybe I can actually spend some time playing with the phone!!! Good job all, great forum Paul, thanks very much and Merry Christmas!
Guest Shire29 Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 For goodness sake she is only 4 weeks old, how could I possibly leave her on her own. She needs constant care and attention. Losing my mind ? never had one to lose..... :D Cheers, Shire
