Guest Disco Stu Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 A few of us have had this problem recently :) I don't think anyone came up with an explanation nor any way of solving it other than restarting the PC / phone.
Guest kelv23 Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Strange i thought it was just me.I connect my phone it syncs, take it out of the cradle and put it back in and the usb doesnt recognise it no light on the hub indicating its connected.nearly every time i have to restart my comp.a bit annoying as I have 2 phones
Guest zabirp Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Have you tried killing activesync thru task manager then turning activesync back on thru start menu then placing the phone back in the cradle?
Guest drblow Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Yeah, that usually works for me. Open task manager on PC, and end the WCESCOM process. Then replace the phone in the cradle.
Guest tony_man Posted March 16, 2004 Report Posted March 16, 2004 Close ALL open windows that point to the device, IE any windows that were open last time the Device was in it's cradle! Then try opening again from My Computer! I hope that helps T

Guest AaronSoup Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 I just unplug the cable at the pc. then plug it back in with out phone, wait a couple of seconds and replace phone... then explore and it works.
