hey all...gr8 exciting stuff u guys got going over here...

first timer...need some help getting started with Midnight's System Sound tweak...

firstly, i have a windows mobile 2003 pda...wud the tweak work jst as well on it? seems pretty easy to follow...jst diff wordings e.g. Select Menu>New Value>String is a Edit>New String Value...

On more thing...Midnight's 'here' link to obtain voice themes results in a 404...anyways, i managed to d/load the borg.zip within which are a buncha files (000file0.001, 000file0.002, ......... KEYPAD~1.000)...r these the files i refer to in "Value Data: pathname of the wav"?

these aren't wav! :cry:

Dont know about whether it will work on WM2k3 pda, not used them.

But concerning the Borg file you have downloaded, you have extracted the CAB file, these are used for installation on a MS Smartphone. Basically you would have to extract and rename the files, if you find the XML file in the CAB (its usually the first one) and open it in notepad or something you will be able to see the correct file names.

so here i go...unzip borg.zip...this results in borg1.2.CAB...i transfer the .cab to my pda and open it there?

will try that if u recommend it however i still dont know the values i need to input in the "Value Data" field under Select Menu>New Value>String :?:

IncliniWirefree, yeah, the CAB probably wont work correctly on your PDA as it will have different registry enteries than the Smartphones. Unfortunately i have no knowledge what so ever of them :?

You could try contacting Midnight, who created the files, as he has some experience with pocket pc's
