A new version of is available from handango

for those of you not familiar with this app:

Caller2Picture for Smartphone adds more fun to Microsoft's Windows Powered Smartphone devices and increase the usability by adding pictures, ringtones and animated backgrounds to the standard call notification window.

While the standard Smartphone platform devices notifies incoming calls with the caller name, company and phone number (if available from the contacts database) only, Caller2Picture adds an additional image and a specific ring tone of the contact to the information, displayed on the Smartphone screen.

Caller2Picture v3.0 for Smartphone is  fast, easy-to-use and comes with a new and improved interface that has new funtionalities that will make your incomming calls look more interesting.  

Caller2Picture is based on Intelligence2Interface i-2-i technology and therefore allows you to be used in the most intuitive and easy way.

V2R i-2-1 technology becomes the basic user interface for all V2R products in the future to give the user all advantages of the enhanced graphic displays for Windows Mobile devices.

:twisted: I payed over the odds for this when it was version 1.0 and it was unusable.

Why the hell should I pay to upgrade when I and plenty of others got no feedback from them at all when we complained :evil:

I certainly wont be upgrading and why should I now I got an E200 with it's built in caller display.

And what happened to V2.0

I certainly didn't get any notification from the company to let me know there was an update.

If they change my mind to purchase it they gotta do some apologizing

It could be worth it if it does a better job managing how much power it uses. The built in caller ID on our phones is great except for the fact that hinders battery performance. If anyone tries this out let us know how it affects battery life! :)
