Guest robdes Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 HELP!!! I had my phone plugged into the charger for a while, took it out and noticed that it has not charged. I figured that it has not seated properly and placed it back in the charger. Now the phone shut down, the light is red when plugged in, but the phone will not power on regardless of wether it is plugged in or not. What is going on???? It is getting power from someplace when plugged in (hence the red light) but it will not power up regardless of wether it is plugged in our not.
Guest squall Posted March 17, 2004 Report Posted March 17, 2004 i believe the red light indicated the battery is completely drained and will not switch on without being charged - is the battery correctly seated? try removing the battery and plugging in the charger - does the light stay on - does the phone switch on? It could be a faulty charger - but check the full combaination of possibilities first!
