Guest V0oD0o Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Just been on the phone to Orange, they cocked up. I have 2 handsets, mine is the first, my girlfriends is the second. When I phoned upgrades, they said I could upgrade my second phone and use the SIM from my first phone in it AND get the GPRS bundle, I can't, speaking to Orange I have to upgrade my own number to get all the benfits of the bundle. Anyway, while I was speaking, the lass was telling me about the "unlimited" GPRS bundle for £6 a month, and the "fair use" policy. Anyway, it turns out, that if you use 3000 minutes a month or more, then they start charging you! Thought you'd like to know, sorry if this is old hat! Cheers, Mike
Guest Shire29 Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Sorry, I'm confused, I don't understand where minutes come into play with GPRS ? I thought GPRS was based on data transferred, i.e. by the kb ? Can't see it being 3000 kb thats less than the 10MB limit I was told by Orange, and it can't be 3000MB can it ? lol. Cheers, Shire
