my new e200 does not buzz

I have had >10 e200 's from orange now, so I am very familiar with the muffled/buzzing/distortion that they make.

I won an mpx200 from the last Modaco comp but of course they're "out of stock" so I got an e200 instead.

It looks a little different from all my previous e200 's in that where it says spv, is closer to the screen and E200 is in a slightly smaller font. Its batch number is HT338 (a new one on me)

maybe its the phone, maybe its the OS

Looks like the new ROM to me... maybe they have fixed it after all....

After leaving it on overnight, I still have 3 bars of power (no SDcard)

I too have a new E200 .. different E200 Font, and Different Case Colour (dark grey not blue) .. however mine does buzz and my original E200 didnt :cry:

The buzzing is fixed by the ROM update, but is also more/less noticable I think depending on the speaker in the actual phone.

Just wait for the ROM update and then decide whether sound quality is still an issue for you
