SMS gateways

Since quite a few people here are techies i thought maybe someone might know.

1) Does anyone run an SMS Gateway on one of there servers?

2) Does anyone know of any service that allow you to connect into a SMS gateway?

Basically i want to be able to use an SMS gateway, but obviously i cant afford one myself, and i'm looking for a cheap option!

Oh and you will be helping the whole SPV community if you know any info :D

What do you mean exactly by an 'SMS Gateway'?

I have written *a lot* of SMS software in the past, might have something you would be interested in :D

^ Well i am looking for gateway that will allow me to send SMS through it, e.g Lycos, O2 online and all the other free sms websites, all have a gateway which sends the SMS off to the phone after the user hits send!
