Guest M@rkC Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 It's quite possible that I've missed something, but is it possible to create new folders for SMS messages? I've got a load of messages in my Inbox that I'd like to put into another folder - say "Archive" or whatever.... Trouble is, I can't see any way to create the "Archive" folder - I know how to move messages in there, just can't find any way to make the darn thing! I've seen an app - SMS Toolkit - that looks like it'll do exactly what I want, but it's only for SmartPhone 2002......aarrghh!!
Guest Brody Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 You could create the folder on your PC in Outlook and sync it across, that works for me...
Guest M@rkC Posted March 19, 2004 Report Posted March 19, 2004 Um, not sure I follow you Brody - Outlook doesn't sync SMS messages, so what (and exactly how) will your suggestion do for me? Under "SMS Folders" on the E200, I got the usual set....Deleted, Drafts, Inbox, Outbox and Sent. What I'm trying to do is create, say, a top-level folder called Archive (or Keep...or Jokes...or ??) that I can then move all the messages I want to keep into... I want my SMS Inbox to contain only "work in progress" items and for everything else to be deleted, archived or moved to somewhere else. One or the other of us is misunderstanding something...and it's almost certainly me (5 cans of McKewans isn't helping things much right about now :) hic!)....but the 26 messages in my SMS Inbox are really beginning to hack me off!!!
