I was convinced it had gone wrong but it did work in the end. You sure you left it long enough? First impressions good, never tried cleartype before but quite like it already. Annoyed at myself though as I didn't bother backing up the pics and vids I'd recorded and stored in storage/my documents folder. They're all gone now. Guest shardy Posted March 19, 2004 Report Share Posted March 19, 2004 Well, I installed the update, the sound on voice calls is better but the sound on video recordings has gone from bad to terrible. All you can hear is loud crackling and hissing with some broken conversation in the background. Anyone else have this problem? Sent my whole computer crazy, the task bar started appearing at the top of the screen and everything on the PC screen was flashing and freezing! I had to reset the PC which was a worrying moment in the middle of an upgrade, but once I restarted and shutdown zonealarm it all went fine. Same problem here. I've downloaded the update again in case that was corrupt. But it's the same. Now I've got a phone that I can't get off the multi-colour screen! :evil: HELP !!!! Guest squall Posted March 19, 2004 Report Share Posted March 19, 2004 could be - whats happening when you insert your phone? if active sync attempts to sync - or your system finds a usb device you can run the update by putting the phone in the boot loader before inserting into the cradle.
