I have made a powerful combination of two of the best homescreen layouts designed by Orange and the author of OS X skin.

Only tested on SPV E200. Maintains the overall brilliant layout of OS X skin and wonderful plug-ins made by Mr.O.

Manual Installation, totally customisable.

Read the readme file for installation instruction.

Enjoy! :)

ratcom,

I actually skipped the OS X icons on the homescreen as the last five couldn't get to work. So I kept the original orange plug-ins and made few plug-ins background transparent, then add OS x colour scheme and its varies alert screens and windows media player skins.

Here is the homescreen, notice the small apple icon on the top left of the screen :)

Other screens are as same as the OS X skins in the forum: customisation-homescreendownload

PS, it's totally customizable, you can open my xml file to remove any plug-ins which do not work on mpx, or add your own.

I've made my own little Homescreen, it took about two hours - all it was, was the little MRU from the orig homescreen, and the time/date/network of the orig homescreen too.

With the MAC homescreen, what I'd like is, instead of showing just one MRU when I select down, 5 MRUs, or, the whole bottom line to be MRU, preferably the former. Plus, I like the clock to be bigger!

If you could do this luchao18 I would really appreciate it. I'm asking you because you have a lot more experience with this homescreen, and so you probably know how to work it more than me.

Let me know what you decide! Thanks.

Sorry, Toyota, I am not working on that one anymore, coz i think it's the best i can do. The reason i chose the orange layout instead of mac's are:

1. I like the functionality of orange

2. can figure out how to make the last 5 mrus on the mac's homescreen to work on spv e200

as you can see, i can't really do a lot on the mac homescreen until the designer of it release a new version of it for spv e200

Phew luchao18, thank goodness you haven't done anything... I'll post here again soon and explain further when I have more time.

Thanks for replying though! :)

I’m no expert at homescreen editing…

A couple of nights ago, I decided to edit the homescreen, and I was about to go to sleep, but I just carried on and on and on and on like a nutcase, and I spent about 2 hours adjusting it. WHAT A NUTTER!!!

I’ve moved the clock and the network, removed the pictures. The font has been enlargened, the clock has a really big bold appearance, the network name is on the left at the top and the date is on the right alongside the clock, but in smaller, non-bold font.

I made the MRU so that you could see 5 applications at once, and I also made the text bigger for that, and moved it up half way up the screen. Only thing I couldn’t do is that when you move right on the MRU I can’t make it show what’s been selected, (background highlight), but I don’t mind because it shows it in the text anyway above anyway.

My next move I did this yesterday, spent about 45 minutes I guess, I changed it again so all that it shows on the bottom row is the MRU, in the nice little light blue rectangle. So now it’s pretty cool I really like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it’s worth the 3 HOURS I spent changing it!!!!

by the way....if you want this moved to the Homescreen Download section...you must format the first post properly. See sticky post or any other initial post in the Homescreen Download Section.

I'm removing the DOWNLOAD in the title to avoid confusion with other mods checking to see if it's ready to be moved....which it is not. Better Screenshots would help. Try SmartSS from monolithix.org or Microsoft's Remote Display program.
