Guest chinkee Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 hi to everyone, can anyone pls help me... i have the same problem my windows media player, it does not open when i click on it... it just pops the name windows there pls help me.. mediea player abobe the screen then poofs!! :shock: wala!!! :evil: nakakainis... when i went to the smart center they said that maybe na erase ko raw.. di naman yata.. im not that stupid naman cguro... :twisted: by the way.. if indeed if it was erased, does anyone here have an installer for that (windows media player).. pls help....

Please do a HARD RESET instead. There is no intaller of WMP for our SAP. Hope this help :wink:
Guest pyke Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 nope,dont hard reset yet.you might have previously installed a skin for your WMP and uninstalled it. do a search in the customization or help and advice thread. look for the "home restore.cab".
Guest kalinte Posted March 21, 2004 Report Posted March 21, 2004 @chinkee hard reset, although will definetly solve your problem should be your last option. try undoing or removing apps you installed before the problem showed up. sometimes conflict lang sa ops. if nothing works then that's the time.

It should be windows by default. - HK local machine - Software - Microsoft - Windows Media Player 8 - Parameters - Values - SkinDir please check that value has "" both in the beginning and end. thanks.

Guest chinkee Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 thanks guys.. mmm... have you guys here heard of a program for nokia 7600 or was it 6600 called "SEC" well i think its some what kinda like a UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL for homappliances like your TV, VCD, VHS, Radio, etc. wel... i didnt think that it was true, but then my friend had showed it off to me.. and we tried it on some devices and to my surprise it worked fine... he was switching on and off the tv with his cellphone... could it be possible if it was available for our fone also?!
Guest pyke Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 there has been a lot of talk about that in the other threads.the answer is no,it's not possible.the range of the infrared beam is too short.an arm's reach is longer than the range of the infrared beam.that surely beats the purpose of making a remote control out of our phone.
