Guest kelv23 Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 spotted a few posts lately about the compatibility of SD cards.Had a PNY in my SPV which worked fine, now I fancy a bit more storage 256m+ and wondered which would be a decent card. Answers on a postcard please.....
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 Sandisk seem to be the main card of choice now also I have not heard of any more problems since the bad batch in early 2003. As some SD cards are now dual layer I do not know if the phone can handle this as there are posts complaining that the E200 is having problems :?
Guest kelv23 Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 thats part of the reason for the post, read the E200 thread and wondered if the MPX had any cards it didnt like..
Guest MPXtricky Posted March 20, 2004 Report Posted March 20, 2004 I have a Sandisk Ultra II 256MB - you can get 'em on eBay for around £50
Guest phonesmarts Posted March 21, 2004 Report Posted March 21, 2004 dual-layer SDs? do they hold more than regular, or are they faster? i think the mpx likes most SDs and MMC cards...i have a 256 Sandisk and Lexar and both work fine...i also have a 128 MMC and its slow, but works fine...
Guest raw_toe Posted March 26, 2004 Report Posted March 26, 2004 My NOKIA 3300 came with a 64MB MCC card. I forgot all about it. I tried it in my mpx200 the other day and it works great...
Guest biker1284 Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 I got a kingston 256mb SD card ($20 rebate for a few more days with them from officemax). Works great, do notice mp3s skip off it while trying to do other things on the phone, but that's probably processor related.
