After the update, a number of people have complained about problems with sd card. A problem where apps can't be accessed from sd card and activesync crashing etc.

I had this problem. But when i reformatted my card on my pc to FAT32(previously FAT), everything SEEMS to be fine now.

Try it!

Yeah it doesn't make a difference! I prefer the old rom.

Thanks v1nn1e!!, i reformated my sd card to FAT32 ( Cluster size 16KB), it works fine now, i have also noticed that my e200 is more responsive when accessing programs in my sd card i.e. games, application, etc. other then that i think i'am happy with the new ROM upgrade even though i prefer the speaker sound of the old ROM (did not have the buzzing issue) So if someone could come up with the fix for the speaker level i think i will have almost a perfect e200. :) .

N.B. i've noticed about 20% increase in battery level since the ROM upgrade better then nothing i suppose. :?

Having reformatted my SD card using Task Manager - done a hard reset - reinstalled all my apps - copied over pictures/files etc - I had hoped that the SD card problem would be sorted. Ah but I should know better than that - phone keeps locking up - Midnight's superb Borg (which worked fine before) keeps getting removed etc etc.

If this topic does fix these issues then how do we all do it? If not then any suggestions? Please I'm at the end of my patience with this damn phone!!

I haven't upgraded my E200 but I've also lost access to the SD card.

A restart sorts it and I haven't lost anything. Haven't had and ActiveSync problems either.

My story is really bizzare!

No problems at all with my 256Mb card pre and post update. Friday though, I removed the card for the first time and put a different one in to check what files were on it. Put the original back in and had the SD card issues everybody described. About four lockups per day.

Ran the update again (with the original card inside) have left it in and not a single lock up since.

I'm really confused now as this has to be a coincidence.

i used FLASH FORMAT an app that i have on my PDA, unfortunetly it's only available on pocket pc format, i may have spoken too soon on my earlier post saying that after i reformated my sd card to ''FAT32'' i no longer had any sd card issues becuase i have now noticed that every now and then i cant access my sd card, i think it's due to when i switch off then switch on the phone & dont access anything in the sd card but if i access an app in the sd card then i dont have any sd card issues strange.

Having said that it's lot better then before so it's worth reformating the sd card to ''FAT32''. i give up on this phone (e200) frankley i could not care any more if find any new issues or bugs with this phone as i have decided that i will upgrade my e200 later on the year to my favourite at the moment Motorola MPX becides it will be running pocket pc nice one moto a much more stable OS then windows smartphone 2003. :)

Just had another lock up :)

I bet Orange in their wisdom decided to "improve" the battery life by randomly switching the SD card off.

This is strange, it seems that after i have to pull the SD Card out and put it back in then the battery seems to drain much quicker :?

Hope someone can see a fix for this sometime :D
