o2 gprs wap mms settings on an unlocked SPV e200

Does anyone know how to get the settings to work. I've looked on the o2 website to manually put them in but nothing seems to work. Just keep getting a message saying check network coverage. I'm using an o2 sim on payg. My GPRS is enabled on my sim and i get the little G at the top of the home screen on the phone. I have plenty of signal as well. Is there something built in that it will only connect to orange or something like that?
