Guest bigshot Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 I want to select a wma file as a custom ringtone on my e200 for a certain contact but i cannot see the wma file in the list :x . The wma file is visible in the ringtone list if i go to settings>>>sounds>>>ring tone, but not if i try set a custom ringtone for a contact. Can anyone help? Thanks
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 Are you looking for ringtones that are stored on the storage card? if so that is your problem as custom ringtones need to be on the phone.
Guest bigshot Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 no the wma file is stored on the phone. The problem is that it will not show up when i try to select it as a custom ringtone for a contact.
Guest edgecrush3r Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 I dunno with the E200, but the E100 only supports .WAV files and MIDI as Ringtone by default
Guest m1.carson Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Hi, You need to convert to .WAV format for ringtones or alarmtones AND this is the third time today, go to :- www.jeyo.com And download their Personal Organiser for free, it allows you to change sounds, wallpaper, themes & backgrounds. Caution, if you then go to settings/sounds/ it can reset the Jeyo sounds to default. P.S. Has anybody any idea what a "new channel message is" ?
