Guest Terrapin Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 I'm just wondering whether it's possible yet to send video messages with the e200. The manual clearly states it cannot be done yet because the videos end up at over 100kb, but really short clips dont go over the 100kb limit. There's no option anywhere to attach a video clip to an mms. Well, there is, but it's greyed out (for all sizes of video clip, i've checked). The Orange Help on the phone states that it's possible to send video clips and even shows you how - but again, you get stuck at the greyed out "Send via MMS" option. It's just a drag that i can recieve .3gp clips from others but not encode and send my own... gah! Orange say that it's not something that can be enabled on my account, rather that it's already set up when MMSing is set up, just that my phone refuses to do it. Anyone had any joy or experience with video messaging? Don't believe i've found something my NEC-808 on 3 is better at than my e200.
Guest Simon Desser Posted March 22, 2004 Report Posted March 22, 2004 You're right :) The E200 can receive them ok, and plays back the .3gp video in "Multimedia Album", but there is no way of recording .3gp videos or sending them on the E200  (In fact, the E200 STILL can't playback sound (AMR) in MMS messages
