Please help to stop the incessant beeping

Hi,

When an appointment is coming up (I have my notification set at 15 minutes) my phone will "beep" five or six times, pause, "beep" five or six more times, etc.

It's waaay too much for me. I want it to beep once or twice at the 15, 10 and 5 minutes marks. Does any one know how to control this.

I downloaded power calendar, but I could not find an option there that would allow me to control it.

Any thoughts?
