Guest powellk31 Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 I know this has been mentioned before, but I have been without my phone since yesterday as my screen is in Canary mode. I have tried to enter the memory by Power, Record and the action "joystick", this has worked only twice, from 20 attempts. I can see the phone thinking when I am trying to get into this mode, but it is not working. Also spoke to Orange they also advised to try the upgrade with no other apps running on my machine..No good. Does anybody else have any ideas.
Guest squall Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 when the phone is in the canary mode stick it in the cradle and try running the update
Guest powellk31 Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 Thanks, it turned out I was trying to update my phone on a works machine, we are blocked from any registry updates here, so I tryed again on a colleagues personal laptop and it works. Be aware that the update may not work if the machine is not a personal machine. Thanks
Guest powellk31 Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 I have been checking my Active Sync 3.7, I am unable to import the calender as before. Has anyone else got an ideas, i will possibly try to re install the active sync app. Does anyone else know about any other Upgrade issues.
Guest centrium Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 Hi I upgraded my E200 the other day, and apart from the GPRS problems being lost, I have been unable to access my storage card since the upgrade, I have tried removing it and putting it back in but no joy!! It is like it cannot see the device! Any ideas would be appreciated! Matt www.talesfromwork.com
Guest powellk31 Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 I can access my Storage card, do you have a second Storage card. I have noticed that I am unable paste my ringtones on the phone, it keeps reporting that there is no more room. I believe orange are trying to remove the facility to make changes to the configuration of the phone. Has anybody else experienced similar problems... " It's getting dark down there "
Guest centrium Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 Hi I just have the one storage card supplied by Orange. Quite confused about it, my mate can also access the storage card.
Guest powellk31 Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 I stopped using the Orange starage card the moment I took it out of the box. I have haven't found any problems on the SanDisk 128MB SD card, that I have been using for months.
