Guest TheClown Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 Has anyone else had this: I copied some .wav files to the Windows directory on my phone. Then held the Home key down to get to the menu with Airline Mode, and pressed OK (it was highlighting Power Off) and it powered off. (anyway I can change Power Off from the first item to something else on the list?) Then turned it back on, but my .wav files had gone. Am I missing something? I tried to search the forum, but could find anything similar. Thanks in advance.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 23, 2004 Report Posted March 23, 2004 The main Windows folder gets rewritten on every start up, it's not a bug but how the system works. Ringtones should be place in IPSMApplication DataSounds or on the storage card in My Documents.
