Hi

My SPV has been working ok with Activesync for many months without any problems. Yesterday while syncing it came up with a connection error, after that any syncs will on only do email no task contacts or calendar.

I have deleted the partnership and recreated it, the problem is still there, If I go into options on the PC side of the Activesync the checkboxes for enabling / disabling which items to sync are no longer there for all bits except email.

Can anyone help please.

As always the plot thickens

I have a XP host and a WIN2000 host and sync to both with the SPV, this has been working fine until the problem as reported in my first post.

I now find that I can sync ok with XP host but still have the problem with the WIN2000 host.

I have reinstalled Activesync on the WIN2000 host but still have the same problem. Deleting all the partnerships and starting over does not solve the problem.

The only option I have a checkbox for under Sync Options in Activesync is the Inbox, I can connect and use the explore option to browse the SPV OK and the XP host works fine and will sync all areas

Thinking about a hard reset now, unless someone out can point me in the right direction.

Turned out be Outlook, a re-install cured the problem

Glad it's sorted not heard this problem before but not

Activsync problems seem to be caused by things like

Norton Firewall.
