Guest James Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 Here is nice little app I have seen on www.Handango.com that may be useful for some of us :) although I am not sure how accurate this is :/ so may be a little dodgy.... A bargain price at $2.45 though! If you love drinking and taste of alcohol. This application is the best for you. Check yourself before driving , want a way of making sure they are not breaking the law. This calculator determines the percentage of alcohol in your bloodstream, approximate time for sobering based on your weight, the amount and strength of alcohol consumed and the time elapsed since beginning to consume it. Compatible Devices Note : Compatible with Windows Mobile SmartPhone 2003 only. DOWNLOAD FROM HERE.
Guest Coucou Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 well I don't drink in ounces and I don't weigh myself in pounds! sounds about the right price for a silly app but can you change the units?
Guest James Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 not sure?? but if you cant hopfully they will give us an update so we can.... :)
Guest MPXtricky Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 ...this app is stupid and irresponsible. Nobody in their right mind would seriously use it. What will they develop next - a virtual blood THC calculator for snowboarders? :) (mine's a pint of Stella)
Guest martin Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 I wonder if it would it stand up in court ? "Your honour, may I submit an SPV screenshot in my defence" :)
Guest SPfungus Posted March 28, 2004 Report Posted March 28, 2004 Probably one of the most dangerous applications i have seen. For instance it does not take into account what someone may or may not have eaten. Drinking on an empty stomach makes the alcohol have a greater effect than drinking after a meal etc. There are far to many factors for this app to be of any use. Safest bet as always is dont drink any thing if driving.
Guest midnight Posted March 29, 2004 Report Posted March 29, 2004 time to sober up 3 months, 4 days, 16hrs and 27 minutes, knew i'd drunk to much this weekend :) and i agree DONT DRINK AND DRIVE, this app is just plain dumb, everyone is different when it comes to alcohol so an app is pretty darn dangerous if anyone is daft enough to beleive it.
