Guest awarner [MVP] Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 Welcom to the site :) What phone do you have? If you jave the mpx200 or SPVE100 it should work, but not sure about the E200 and i600 as I do not have them.
Guest daveybluenose Posted March 24, 2004 Report Posted March 24, 2004 got the spv e200 when i open alarm sounds it just has teh default sounds but when i open sms or ringtones it has theones i have downloaded also
Guest ying Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 hie..did you solved your problem? I have similar problem with my alarm. It used to able to play the downloaded tones but after a hard reset whenever i set it to a downloaded tone, it turns back to the default one. Wondering what gone wrong. BTW..i'm using xphone
Guest FRiC Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 Not all tones will work as the alarm tone. If it reverts back to the default ding sound, just pick another tone. Keep trying until you find one that works.
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 27, 2004 Report Posted March 27, 2004 When you say downloaded do you mean direct from a website ? If so they may be in the wrong folder. Use ActiveSync to cut & paste them into Storage Application Data Sounds. Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest m1.carson Posted April 12, 2004 Report Posted April 12, 2004 Hi, They need to be .WAV format to play as alarm tones, I cut some favorite tracks to about 30 seconds then converted them. Don't make them too large as they're huge, like over a Meg each, then go to :- www.jeyo.com and download their Personal Organizer for free which allows you to change Themes, sounds, wallpaper & program order, word of caution, if you then go to settings/sounds/ it can change the tones back again without you realising and a little beep won't wake you up.
